Santa Clara County is a county located at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay Area in the U.S. state of California. The county seat is San Jose. The highly urbanized Santa Clara Valley within Santa Clara County is also known as Silicon Valley. It is the most populous county in the Bay Area region.

 

Incorporated and unincorporated cities include: San Jose, Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Lost Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Saratoga, Sunnyvale, Buena Vista, Burbank, East Foothills, Fruitdale, Laxington Hills, Loyola, San Martin, Seven Trees, Stanford, and Sunol-Midtown.
